Obituary:

Born May 3, 1974 in Tolyatti.

1991-1997 – student at Moscow Physical-Technical Institute.
In 1995 started working at the Institute of Space Research.
In 1999 won his degree of candidate of phys-math sciences.
In 2006 won his degree of doctor of phys-math sciences

He was engaged in the analysis of observational data from X-ray and gamma Observatory "Integral", and also worked with data of the Russian-Turkish telescope RTT-150. He has published more than a hundred papers in leading international journals and journals of RAS. He is one of the most cited scientists in the country.

In addition, he has been actively working with students and postgraduates undergoing diploma practice and working on dissertations in the Department of high energy astrophysics of the space research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

He was a member of the expert Council of the Foundation for support of fundamental physics.
He died on November 23, 2016 after a long illness.

Prizes :

2006, Ya.B.Zeldovich Medal of the International Committee on Space Research for the solution of the problem of origin of background x-ray radiation of the Galaxy.

2008, Prize of the President of the Russian Federation in the field of science and innovations for young scientists (for the results of scientific research making a significant contribution to the understanding of nature).
