Grants for the IAU XXVIII General Assembly

A limited number of IAU Grants to attend the IAU XXVIII General Assembly will be available, primarily for young astronomers and astronomers from less privileged countries. Those who feel qualified and who plan to participate actively in the General Assembly may complete and submit an IAU XXVIII GA Grant Application Form, which is now on-line at the IAU web page: http://www.iau.org/grants_prizes/iau_grants/ga_events/ga_application_form/ 
Applications can be submitted until 29 February 2012 (midnight GMT).
Grant recipients will be ínformed by 8 May 2012.
The grants will be paid out - either in cash in CNY or else by bank transfer in EUR - after arrival and registration at the General Assembly.
