This event was generously sponsored by the IAU, the US National Academy of Sciences and the US National Science Foundation and was part of the IAU General Assembly 2012 in Beijing, China. In the centre of this picture is the astronomer Wendy Freedman, one of the winners of the Gruber Cosmology Prize in 2009 (see the press release iau0911).
