In response to a rapid increase of research activities in this area, and especially in laboratory work on dust analogs and their interactions with particles/radiation, and to the fact that under this research area scientists of different backgrounds work (astrophysicists, physical chemists, surface scientists, etc.), it is deemed highly desirable that there is structure where scientists can obtain: 1. an overview of recent developments of the field; 2. Resources (bibliographies, information on databases, meeting announcements, etc.)
