Young stars
Children take part in a hands-on learning activity about astronomy as part of the IDP Children Astronomer's Outreach in Nigeria project. This project, which is supported by the IAU Office of Astronomy for Development, uses astronomy as a tool to inspire and educate Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) who have been displaced due to ethno-religious conflicts in Nigeria. The initiative also brings in professional counsellors to offer people living in the IDP camps support.
