Radio astronomy workshop

Students participate in the Summer Workshop on Radio Astrophysics, Tonantzintla 2017. This project, which was supported by the OAD, introduced the topic of radio astrophysics to people studying physics, astronomy, engineering and related disciplines at Mexican and Central/South American institutions. The workshop aimed to promote radio astrophysics in light of the beginnings of scientific operations of new generations of mm-wavelength facilities in the region, such as ALMA and the Large Millimeter Telescope.
