* Gruber Fellowship in Astrophysics
The Gruber Foundation (TGF) has created the GF Fellowship Programme with the aim of promoting the science of cosmology and other branches of astronomy. The awarded Fellowship amount, up to $75,000 (US), is intended as a research grant covering travel, subsistence and research expenses supplementing a postdoctoral appointment at a host institution starting no later than October 1st of the award year. The Fellowship may be held in conjunction with any other fellowship or award. The Fellowship will be awarded to an extremely promising, early career astrophysicist, working in any field of astrophysics, either theoretical, observational or experimental. Full details may be found at https://www.iau.org/science/grants_prizes/gruber_foundation/fellowships/.
Deadline: the complete applications for the TGF Fellowship should be uploaded no later than April 10 2023. Applications received after that date or incomplete applications will not be considered. In order to give your references time to complete their letters of reference, please be sure to submit the application before the deadline. Please note that this deadline ends at 11:59 PM in the IAU office in Paris, France (GMT+1). Queries should be addressed to iau-general.secretary@iap.fr.
Applicants will be notified by the IAU General Secretary of the outcome of the selection before 31 May 2023. The name of the selected TGF Fellow 2023 and that of the host institute will be announced on the IAU website.

* Women in Astronomy projects
The North American Regional Office for Development has issued a call for proposals for small Women in Astronomy projects, due April 16.
https://naroad.astro4dev.org/women-and-girls-astronomy-program/
The Women in Astronomy Working Group has been very active over the past year. Although it has 196 members, which is large for a Working Group, we encourage more members to join, to show that they value the work that the group is doing, and to become more involved in the activities.
=======================================
* Call for Survey Participants: The Future of Observational Astronomers
If you are a researcher or postgraduate student working in the broad field of Observational Astronomy, please complete an anonymous online survey (< 10 min) to help improve understanding of current practices and future changes relating to: (1) the level of in-person involvement in data collection; and (2) the use of automation to assist with research activities.
Further details and the survey questions are at: https://tinyurl.com/futureastronomersurvey
The survey will close on Monday 8 May 2023.

We apologize if you received our March Newsletter more than once. Apparently there was a problem with the original distribution, and the IAU Secretariat sent it again to be sure it reached all members despite being already late March. From the IAU Div-D Steering Committee we have no direct access to the mailing lists (despite the name of the sender you see in our Newsletters). Apologies for any inconvenience this might have caused you.

If you wish to share with IAU Division D any information about matters that may be relevant to the activities of Div D Members, please send an e-mail to rea@ice.csic.es . This will appear in the next Newsletter, which will be sent out around May 1, 2023. Thank you in advance for your inputs, and best regards.
