The IAU welcomes over 1200 new Individual and Junior members

The International Astronomical Union would like to extend a warm welcome to its 1235 new Individual and Junior members, who were formally accepted into the Union on 31 August 2018 at the Closing Ceremony of the XXX General Assembly in Vienna, Austria. Their admittance brings the total number of IAU members to 13 606.
