IAU Outreach Visitor Program 2020 (2nd Edition)

Applications are now open to the second edition of our IAU Outreach Visitor Program. Given the current situation that prevents our candidates from travelling in safety to Japan, our team adapted our visitors' program to be able to continue to host interested applicants. The IAU Outreach Visitor Program is now a "hybrid mode" of both remote collaboration combined with a face-to-face visit, at a later stage in Japan, when the safety measures allow.

-- 2 months remote collaboration, 2-3 days work per week (or equivalent time allocation) (starting after selection is accepted by both parties)
-- 1 month at the IAU Office for Astronomy Outreach, Tokyo, Japan, 2-3 days work/week (or agreed equivalent time allocation) (chosen date by the applicant and according to the safety travel guidelines, in both country of origin and Japan)
* flexible by agreement of the parties involved.

Funding Coverage
Accommodation, flight and small daily allowance for 1 month (according to the NAOJ Daily allowance table chart).
