Dear Member of IAU Division H on "Interstellar Matter and Local Universe",

The IAU is seeking proposals for Symposia in 2017 and we on the Steering
Committee of Division H request that you consider submitting one yourself.


There is a short deadline (September 15th) for a Letter of Intent, as
described here:

Note that for the Letter of Intent, you only need the names of the Chairs
of the SOC and LOC, not the full committee memberships nor a proposed list
of invited speakers.

The final deadline for proposals is December 15th, as described here:

Please send your proposals to me as a pdf file several weeks prior to the
deadline, preferably before December 1st, so that our Steering Committee
can give you advice and suggestions for improvements.
